Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Sutton Coldfield? Look no further! Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting supply teachers for a range of positions, including long-term, short-term, and daily bookings across schools in Sutton Coldfield.
Location – Sutton Coldfield
Position – KS1 Teacher
Type of work – Class Teacher –
Contract or position start date – ASAP
Duration – Daily, short term and Long term
Contract type : temp- temp to perm
Full time/part time – Full time /Part time
Minimum rate of pay – Negotiable
Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)
Key Responsibilities:
· Planning and Teaching: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
· Assessment and Tracking: Regularly assess student progress and implement effective strategies to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional support.
· Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
· Collaboration: Work alongside the KS1 team and other staff members to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.
· Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure open communication and support for the children’s academic progress.
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
· QTS and Experience: It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
· Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven’t completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course.
To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK.
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
· Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years.
