Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Knowsley. This rewarding role involves supporting learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome barriers to education and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
Working on a one-to-one basis, you'll create engaging lessons tailored to each learner's individual needs, building confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Position Details

- Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
- Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
- A patient, flexible and engaging teaching approach
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Provide two professional child-related references
