SEN Teaching Assistant - King's Lynn, Norfolk - ASAP Start
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist setting in King's Lynn, Norfolk, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The school is looking for a patient, resilient practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the educational journey of pupils with additional needs.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - King's Lynn, Norfolk
- Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Type of work - Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
- Full time/part-time - Full-time
- Rate of pay - £115 - £122 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours - 08:30am - 15:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs
- Previous experience working within a school, alternative provision, care setting or similar environment is desirable
- Relevant TA qualification or SEN training is desirable
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional child-related references
