How to prepare for a job interview at Prospero Teaching
✨Know Your Stuff
Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of the primary curriculum, especially in English and Maths. Familiarise yourself with common interventions used in these subjects, as you'll likely be asked how you would support students struggling in these areas.
✨Show Your Passion
During the interview, let your enthusiasm for working with children shine through. Share specific examples of how you've positively impacted students in the past, whether through tutoring or other educational activities. This will help demonstrate your commitment to their learning.
✨Prepare Questions
Have a few thoughtful questions ready to ask the interviewer about the school environment, team dynamics, or professional development opportunities. This shows that you're genuinely interested in the role and want to ensure it's a good fit for both you and the school.
✨Highlight Your Experience
Be ready to discuss your previous TA experience in detail. Talk about specific situations where you successfully supported students, managed classroom behaviour, or collaborated with teachers. This will help the interviewer see how your background aligns with their needs.
