Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and patient SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the Winchester area. This long-term role involves working closely with children who have additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social or emotional challenges. You will provide consistent, tailored support throughout the school day, helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and feel supported within a structured classroom environment. The Role:
  • Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance to pupils with SEN

  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
  • SEN or child-support experience desirable
  • Safeguarding training can be provided
  • Understanding of SEN strategies beneficial but not essential
