Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and patient SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the Winchester area. This long-term role involves working closely with children who have additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social or emotional challenges. You will provide consistent, tailored support throughout the school day, helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and feel supported within a structured classroom environment. The Role:- Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance to pupils with SEN
- Support pupils during lessons, activities, and transitions
- Assist with emotional regulation, confidence, and behaviour strategies
- Help adapt learning tasks under the guidance of teaching staff
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams
- Encourage independence, engagement, and positive social development
- Contribute to a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
- Calm, patient, and confident supporting additional needs
