Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Tameside FULL TIME | IMMEDIATE START | LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY Prospero Teaching are working with a mainstream secondary school in Tameside seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant looking to develop their experience within a secondary school setting. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4, providing classroom support and targeted interventions to help students achieve positive outcomes. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS · Location: Tameside · Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant · Type of Work: Classroom support and interventions across KS3 and KS4 · Start Date: Immediate · Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity · Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time · Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP105 - GBP125 per day (depending on experience) · Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm THE ROLE · Support students across KS3 and KS4. · Work alongside teachers in the classroom. · Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions. · Support pupils with additional learning needs. · Promote positive behaviour and engagement. · Help create an inclusive learning environment. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS · Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. · Previous school-based experience. · Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils is desirable. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Positive and proactive approach. · Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable).
