Tutoring in Wiltshire
Are you passionate about supporting young people? Are you compassionate, calm and innovative? At Prospero Teaching, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Tutors to join our growing team in Wiltshire starting now and going into the new academic year. We support young people who may have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
As a Tutor, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Record student progress and report on this weekly.
- Record attendance.
- Be understanding, empathetic, patient, calm, fair, adaptable, organized, dependable, and creative.
About you:
- Nurturing and caring nature, patient, kind and understanding, knowledgeable of the National Curriculum, organized, comfortable supporting secondary aged pupils with English, Maths and possibly Science, or comfortable mentoring young people.
- Have experience working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months educational experience
- Experience working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Willingness to undertake safeguarding training (provided by Prospero)
