We are looking for English Tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

About the Role:

  • Within Sunderland and the surrounding area
  • Work available from the start of the Academic Year
  • Flexible hours to suit the needs of yourself and the young person
  • £25 - £30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Possess UK classroom teaching experience
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

What we need from you:

  • Hold a right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Be able to provide references to cover your last two years of employment
