The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Specialised SEND Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 educational support to children and young people. The learners we support may have a range of additional needs and benefit from a highly individualised approach to education. You'll work at the learner's pace, adapting your sessions to their interests, strengths and areas for development whilst helping them re-engage with education.
Position Details:
- Location: Anglesey
- Position: Specialised SEND Tutor
- Hours: 5-15 hours per week
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Strong experience working with SEND learners
- Teaching, tutoring or mentoring background
- Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
- QTS or equivalent desirable
- Creative and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
