About the Role: As a Year 3 HLTA, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning. You will support whole-class learning, deliver targeted interventions, and may lead lessons or cover classes when required. You'll play a key role in helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and strong learning behaviours. Key Responsibilities: Support and deliver learning activities across the Year 3 curriculum. Lead small group interventions in literacy and numeracy. Provide cover for the class teacher when required. Support assessment, observations, and pupil progress tracking. Promote positive behaviour and a well-managed classroom environment. Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development. Uphold safeguarding and inclusion policies at all times. Requirements: HLTA status or relevant experience at HLTA level. Experience working within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
