Prospero Teaching are seeking to recruit a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) into a highly regarded Primary School with an exceptional reputation for academic excellence, creativity, and a nurturing environment. Duties:

  • Planning and delivering engaging learning activities across the curriculum.
  • Supporting class teachers with differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Leading small group interventions to raise attainment in core subjects.
  • Providing one-on-one support for pupils with specific learning needs.
  • Covering lessons as needed, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Supporting behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Encouraging pupil engagement and motivation to inspire a love of learning.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a HLTA qualification or equivalent (essential).
  • Has experience working in a primary school setting, ideally across a range of year groups.
  • Demonstrates a passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of children.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
