Key Responsibilities
- Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials as necessary
- Contributing to the development of tailored learning plans for students with SEND
- Helping to manage behaviour and maintaining a structured, supportive classroom environment
- Working closely with the teaching team to ensure a holistic approach to each child's learning
- Supporting students with physical and personal care tasks where appropriate
What weβre looking for from a High Level Teaching Assistant
- A recent graduate (2:2 or higher) or prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a SEND setting
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential
- A strong commitment to supporting children with complex needs and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on their lives
To be eligible you must
- Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
