Minimum rate of pay: GBP120/day

Hours: 8:15am to 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Headteacher's PA Duties: Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Headteacher. Manage the Headteacher's diary, appointments, meetings and correspondence. Prepare agendas, reports, presentations and meeting documentation. Coordinate school events, visits and stakeholder meetings. Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies. Record and distribute meeting minutes where required. Support governance activities and administrative requirements. Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Pastoral Administration Duties: Provide administrative support to the pastoral and safeguarding teams. Maintain accurate student records and pastoral documentation. Support attendance monitoring and follow-up procedures. Assist with behaviour, wellbeing and pastoral tracking systems. Liaise with parents/carers regarding pastoral matters as directed.

About You:

  • Experience in a senior administrative, PA or school-based administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tact, diplomacy and professionalism at all times.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and digital management systems.
  • Knowledge of Arbour and/or SIMS is desirable.
  • Experience within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child related references.
