Prospero Teaching is recruiting a compassionate and reliable SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the Farnborough area. This role involves working with students who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
You will work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent and personalised support, helping pupils access learning, stay engaged in lessons, and develop confidence throughout the school day. Support may be provided on a 1:1 basis or within small groups depending on individual needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people who benefit from additional structure and guidance.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance for pupils with SEN
- Support pupils during lessons, activities, and transitions
- Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour support
- Adapt learning tasks to meet individual needs
- Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

- Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.66 per hour

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
- SEN or relevant child-support experience desirable
- Safeguarding training can be provided
- Understanding of SEN strategies beneficial but not essential
