Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and resilient SEN Educational Support Workers to support a range of SEN schools and Alternative Provisions across Havant and the surrounding areas. This includes opportunities within both primary and secondary age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personalised support to children with a range of special educational needs
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of creative, therapeutic, and inclusive activities
  • Promoting safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive engagement
  • Supporting pupils with daily routines, emotional regulation, and developing independence
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families through clear and consistent communication

  • Contract Type: Full-time, with temp‑to‑perm pathways available
  • Pay Rate: From £13.96 per hour
  • Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
  • Provide professional references covering the past 24 months, ideally involving work with children or vulnerable individuals
  • Hold a Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, education, or a related field (or have relevant experience)
