Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school in Harwich, starting in June. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner to step into a well-established team and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and progress. The school is looking for someone with strong classroom practice, effective behaviour management, and a genuine passion for supporting children at KS2.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - Harwich
- Position - Year 4 Primary Teacher
- Type of work - Full class teaching
- Start date - June
- Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
- Full time/part-time - Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - From £125 per day
- Hours - School hours (approx. 8:30 am - 4:00 pm)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school (Year 4 experience desirable)
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional child-related references
