Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced, passionate and patient Tutor, with Qualified Teacher Status, that is looking to step out of a classroom environment. Within this role, you will be working alongside another member of staff to provide support to a small group of young people. These students have ASD, ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs which has resulted in them not being able to attend their education provision. This role is Monday to Friday, 10am β 2pm. You will be supported by a care team that are familiar with the young people.
One of your aims will be to support and re-engage a pupil in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine, continue their educational development and aid their return to school. Patience is a key attribute as these young people may have a prolonged period out of education and SEMH needs.

The desired candidate will have:
- Experience working with ASD, ADHD & SEMH
- QTS
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils
What we need from you:
- Hold a right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to complete a new application
- Provide references to cover the last two years of employment
- The ability to commit to the young person and work for the duration of the placement
- QTS qualification
