Prospero Teaching is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Harrow starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Science department and make a real impact on students' academic success.
The successful candidate will teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants.
The Role
Deliver engaging and high-quality Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Biology within a UK secondary school.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Passionate about inspiring young people and raising attainment.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
