Art Teacher - Harrow Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, long-term Location: Harrow, London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Harrow, starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Art and committed to inspiring students through creative, engaging and challenging lessons.

You will have the opportunity to teach across the secondary age range and contribute to a supportive and ambitious Art department.

The Role

Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons.

Inspire students to develop their artistic skills, confidence and creativity.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and development.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and education.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.

A positive, professional and flexible approach.
