SEMH Tutor Required - 1:1 Support (14-Year-Old Student) Job Details We are seeking a compassionate and patient Tutor to support a 14-year-old student with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis in Basingstoke .

The student experiences significant anxiety, including emotionally based school avoidance, which affects her ability to attend and engage in education.

She also has social communication difficulties associated with ASD, benefits from structure and predictability, and can find changes, transitions, and noisy environments challenging.

This role will focus on rebuilding confidence, reducing barriers to learning, and providing a supportive and consistent educational experience.

Location : Basingstoke Hours : 5 hours per week Start Date : September Type : 1:1 Tutoring Requirements Experience supporting students with SEMH needs Understanding of anxiety-based school avoidance and ASD Ability to build positive, trusting relationships Patient, calm, and adaptable approach Confidence in delivering personalised learning sessions Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or SEN support Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Interested?
