Prospero Teaching is looking for a caring, patient, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the Winchester area. This role involves working closely with students who have additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication challenges, and social or emotional needs.
You will provide consistent, tailored support throughout the school day, helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop essential emotional and social skills. - Provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance for pupils with SEN
- Support pupils during lessons, activities, and transitions
- Assist with emotional regulation, confidence-building, and behaviour support
- Help adapt learning tasks under teacher guidance
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
- SEN or child-support experience desirable
- Safeguarding training can be provided
- Understanding of SEN strategies beneficial
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
