What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing equipment, chemicals, and resources for lessons
- Setting up experiments and demonstrations across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
- Keeping labs safe, tidy, and fully compliant with health and safety guidelines (including COSHH)
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring safe storage/disposal of materials
- Managing stock, ordering supplies, and keeping simple financial records
- Cleaning, maintaining, and doing basic repairs on equipment
- Helping with admin tasks and providing technical support to staff
- Getting involved in science clubs or enrichment when needed
