Prospero Teaching is seeking ambitious graduates interested in a career in education to join a supportive secondary school in Hackney as Graduate Teaching Assistants and Subject Mentors.

Role Details:

  • Location: Hackney, East London
  • Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Contract: Term Time Only
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:15am-3:45pm

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Provide 1:1 and small group intervention support
  • Assist students with learning, engagement and progress
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff across departments
  • Gain valuable classroom experience before teacher training

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified
  • Good GCSE results
  • Passion for education and supporting young people
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references
