Prospero Teaching works closely with Local Councils and Schools across the UK, and we currently have a strong need for experienced one-to-one Intervention Tutors in Chafford Hundred.
As an Intervention Tutor, you’ll create, plan and deliver personalised 1:1 sessions for each student. Your role is to support their re-integration into education, offering tailored tuition that replaces school during this period. Every young person receives a set number of hours, and Prospero will support you throughout by checking progress and requesting weekly reports.

- Rate of pay: £25 P/H via Umbrella Company
Your Role:
- Provide one-to-one or small-group tuition for students with SEND, helping them build confidence, life skills, independence, and safe community access.
- Create and adapt individual lesson plans that target specific learning needs.
Eligibility:
- Child-related or Education qualification.
- Previous UK education experience.
- Experience working with SEND.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
- Ability to provide references for the past two years.
