About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking motivated graduates to join our TeachAhead Programme as Graduate Teaching Assistants. These long-term placements are perfect for those looking to gain classroom experience before starting teacher training.

You’ll work across Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings in the Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole areas, supporting pupils and teachers to create an engaging learning environment.

Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Long-Term Placement

Duration: Ongoing

Hours: Full-Time (Part-Time options available)

Pay: From £90.74 per day

What Was Looking For

• Recent graduate (2:2 or higher preferred)
• Passion for education and helping young people succeed
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Experience working with children or young people (in any capacity) is advantageous but not essential

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
• Two professional references
