A Teaching Assistant is required to start in an 'Outstanding' School based in Watford, Hertfordshire. Graduates or experienced Teaching Assistants welcome. The successful applicants will join a thriving and supportive school and contribute to students' academic lives in a well-established SEN department.

Responsibilities

  • Support vulnerable students with a range of SEN needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Behavioural needs, Dyslexia).
  • Assist in delivering targeted support to pupils across key stages and within the SEN department.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful learning environment and participate in school-led training and CPD opportunities.
  • Flexible involvement across age groups as required by the school.
  • Engage with additional school activities such as parents’ evenings as needed.

  • Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Type of Work: KS3 / KS4 / KS5 (supporting these key stages)
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Contract Type: Temp to Perm
  • Hours: Full time (08:00 – 15:30 or 16:00), with 1:1 and parental evening commitments as required
