Prospero Teaching are excited to be recruiting enthusiastic and motivated graduates who are eager to gain hands‑on classroom experience. These are long‑term, short‑term and day‑to‑day placements with immediate starts available, offering an excellent pathway into education. We are recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across Primary, Nursery and SEN schools in the Southampton area, including:
- Central Southampton
- Winchester
- Eastleigh
- New Forest
- All SO postcode areas
No prior experience is required; full training is provided. However, any experience working with children or young people (including in schools) will be highly beneficial.
Your Role Will Include:
- Working 5 days per week, term‑time only
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Working across EYFS, Key Stage 1 & 2
About the Successful Graduate / Teaching Assistant:
- No experience required; full training provided
- Holds a recent degree (ideally 2:2 or above)
- Passionate about education with a proactive, can‑do attitude
- A positive role model for young people
- Innovative, engaging and adaptable in their approach to learning
