Prospero Teaching are supporting both mainstream schools and specialist SEN provisions across Portsmouth, looking to recruit Teaching Assistants who can provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

  • Are patient, understanding, and resilient
  • Can engage and motivate students with differing needs
  • Build strong, professional relationships with staff and pupils
  • Are confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment

Contract details:

  • Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire
  • Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Contract type - Long term supply or temp to perm
  • Duration - Ongoing
  • Full time - Full time role
  • Minimum rate of pay - £14.25 per hour

Eligibility:

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
