Student Profile: The student is of secondary age and currently working below expected levels due to a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. - Build a positive, trusting relationship to foster engagement and motivation
- Tailor sessions to the student's current working level and learning style
- Use creative, flexible strategies to overcome barriers to learning
- Support the development of self-esteem, resilience, and independent learning skills
- Track progress and adapt your approach in response to the student's evolving needs
About You:
- Experience working with KS3/KS4 learners, ideally in alternative or SEN settings
- Confident supporting students with SEMH needs or those who are school-refusing
- Calm, empathetic, and consistent in your approach
- Able to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons across multiple subjects
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Available to deliver sessions on: Monday's and Fridays (Afternoons ideally)
