Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help support schools while building long-term, meaningful relationships with candidates.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Prospero Teaching, you will manage the full recruitment life cycle within the education sector. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and working towards targets in a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with schools and education settings
- Sourcing, screening, and placing teaching and support staff
- Interviewing candidates and supporting them through compliance and onboarding
- Managing client requirements and matching candidates to suitable roles
- Developing and growing your desk through proactive business development
- Supporting candidates throughout their assignments and placements
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet team targets
About You
We’re looking for someone motivated, resilient, and personable, with a genuine interest in education and people. You will ideally have:
- Previous recruitment or sales experience (education recruitment preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
