Your Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Lead small group interventions and targeted learning activities
- Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required
- Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment
- Assist with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress
Essential Requirements
- HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level (Desirable)
- Previous experience working within a UK school setting (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and classroom practices
- A minimum of 24 months of referenceable work history within the last 5 years (Mandatory)
- Professional references provided from company/professional email addresses only (Mandatory)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
