Geography Teacher – Tameside – Spring term A dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Tameside, to join them on a full-time basis for the Spring term. From January until Easter 2025. This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers. You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way, in tandem with AfL. This is a Good school in terms of behaviour and attitude, personal development and leadership and management. The pupils enjoy the school and respect each other and the staff creating a caring environment for everyone involved. The leaders of the school have high expectation of the students which they rise to, striving for success at every opportunity. Many pupils enjoy various clubs and activities and take on additional responsibilities. These include music, drama, sports, and a range of groups to support the promotion of tolerance and respect.
