Job Description

Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit excellent Teaching Assistants interested in securing a role. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young person, providing tailored academic and emotional support within a primary school setting.\\n\\nTeaching Assistant\\n\\nLocation – Bolton\\nType of work – Temp, long term\\nStart date – As soon as possible\\nFull time/part time – Full time\\nHours – 8:30 am – 3:30 pmResponsibilities:\\n\\nAssisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.\\nBehaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.\\nProviding emotional support: Offering guidance and support to students who may be dealing with personal issues or stress.\\nMonitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.\\nSafeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required\\nCollaboration: work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students thrive academically and socially.Requirements:\\n\\nTeaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)\\nPrevious experience working with young people.To be eligible:\\n\\nHold Right to Work in the UK\\nHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.\\nProvide two professional references.If you are interested in this role, please apply to this advert
