The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for qualified and experienced GCSE Tutors to provide 1:1 support to students. Whether you are a subject specialist or confident supporting across all core (Maths, English and Science), we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

  • Location: Various locations across Liverpool
  • Position: GCSE Tutor
  • Type of work: Supply
  • Hours: Flexible working hours available
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Hourly rate: Minimum rate of 25.00p/h

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • SEN experience

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
