Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted, engaging tuition in GCSE Maths and/or English, aligned with current curriculum standards.
  • Create personalised learning plans that address each student’s unique academic needs and exam goals.
  • Support students in building confidence, knowledge and exam strategies to improve performance.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles, including providing additional support for students with SEN needs where required.
  • Track and report progress regularly to parents, carers, and the education team.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English at GCSE level.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and accessibly

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable
