GCSE Tutor (Trafford & Salford)

Up to £30 per hour | Part-Time | Up to 20 hours per week

We are currently recruiting an experienced GCSE Tutor to provide 1:1 and small-group tuition to pupils across the Trafford and Salford area. We are an education provider dedicated to making a positive impact on young peoples lives by supporting their academic progress and confidence. We work in partnership with schools and local authorities to support pupils who need additional educational support during school hours.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Relevant UK experience as a Tutor, Youth Mentor, or Teacher
  • Ability to deliver GCSE-level tuition confidently
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply and pay for one
  • Two professional references
  • Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
  • (QTS is desirable but not essential)

Further Information

The successful tutor will be patient, engaging, and adaptable, with the ability to tailor lessons to meet individual pupil needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering structured GCSE tuition sessions that support progress and build learner confidence.

All tuition takes place during school hours, therefore applicants must be available between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. This role offers flexible part-time work with competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to make a real difference.
