Prospero Teaching are working alongside Reading council to provide tuition for students beginning their GCSEs in September on a part-time basis. These students require support in their core subjects such as Maths, English and Science.
Choose between morning, noon or evening sessions and commit to what hours work for you!
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver focused and engaging tuition in GCSE Maths, English or Science tailored to individual learning needs and curriculum goals.
- Identify areas of difficulty and develop personalised lesson plans to address learning gaps.
- Prepare students for exams with confidence-building strategies and revision support.
- Adapt your teaching style to suit a range of learners, including those with SEN needs.
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers or the wider educational team.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English at a GCSE level.
- Proven ability to break down complex topics in a way that is clear, practical, and engaging.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
- Experience working with students with ASD (Autism).
- QTS or PGCE in Secondary Education or in a core subject.
