GCSE Maths Tutor – Outreach Support (Bromley)

Location: Bromley, Greater London
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: From £25 per hour
Hours: Flexible – school day and afterschool availability (min. 1 hour, max. 3 hours per session)
Contract Type: Temporary (part-time or full-time based on your availability)

About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified GCSE Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to students currently not in mainstream education or those who require additional afterschool support. Sessions are delivered in the local Bromley area, either during the school day or afterschool .

This role is ideal for a teacher or experienced tutor looking to step away from the traditional classroom setting to deliver engaging, personalised lessons that make a real difference.

Many learners may have gaps in their education and reduced confidence, so the ability to build rapport, motivate, and adapt your teaching approach is key. Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Two professional references from the last two years
