Attention all education professionals! Prospero Teaching is currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to join our team and support children across the BCP. As a Mentor/Tutor, you'll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You'll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student's progress, achievements, and overall development.

Contract / Position Details

  • Location – Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
  • Position – Tutor/Mentor
  • Subject – Functional skills / life skills
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration – Ongoing
  • Full time/part-time – Part-time
  • The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate Β£25-30 per hour
  • Hours – flexible

Experience, Training and Qualifications (desirable but not essential)

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
  • Have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in an educational setting
