Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons (English, Maths, or both).
Assess learner needs and create personalised learning plans.
Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners to achieve qualification goals.
Prepare learners for assessments and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and support teams to ensure learner success.
About You
You will be a proactive, learner-focused tutor with a passion for helping people achieve their potential. We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A teaching qualification (PTLLS/Level 3 Award, AET, CertEd, PGCE, or equivalent).
Experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and high-quality teaching.
