This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the position running through until Summer 2026. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed French specialist who can inspire students and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons within a supportive and well‑resourced Modern Foreign Languages department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialises in French and has experience teaching KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Has a passion for languages and a commitment to student progress
  • Is reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the up‑to‑date service (or is willing to obtain one)
