Graduate Teaching Assistant in Felixstowe

Prospero Teaching are looking for Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants at a Primary School in Felixstowe from January 2026.

These positions will be ideal for recent graduates who are looking to gain experience in a classroom environment before starting teacher training.

Graduates in any subject will be considered, and the schools are especially interested in graduates of core subjects; English, Maths and Science.

Contract/Position Details

• Location – Felixstowe, Suffolk
• Position – Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Contract or position start date – January 2026
• Duration / Likely Duration – ongoing for the academic year until July 2026
• Contract type – ongoing
• Full-time/part-time – Full-time Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Minimum rate of pay – 95–105 per day

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject
• GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’ or above

To be eligible you must have/be

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years
