Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with an established alternative provision near Farnborough, supporting young people aged 7-16 with Autism and associated complex needs. Due to the nature of the setting, we are seeking only highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistants with a proven background in specialist or alternative provision environments. This role is not suitable for newly qualified or entry-level TAs.

  • Substantial, hands-on experience supporting children or young people with Autism and complex additional needs.
  • Previous experience in alternative provision, SEN schools, PRUs, or specialist settings.
  • A strong track record of managing challenging behaviour using calm, consistent, and trauma-informed approaches.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Senior / Experienced)

Contract Type: Long-term supply or term-to-perm
Hours: Full time
Pay: From £14.96 per hour (dependent on experience)
GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
Extensive SEN experience is essential - applications without this will not be considered.
