Prospero Teaching is seeking a patient, engaging, and learner‑centred Languages Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 educational packages to young people across Fareham, Gosport, and Waterlooville who are currently unable to access mainstream education. This outreach role is ideal for someone with experience teaching modern foreign languages (such as French, Spanish, German, or EAL) and supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs. Your sessions will provide a calm, structured learning environment where pupils can build confidence, develop communication skills, and re‑engage with education at a pace that suits them.

What the Sessions Aim to Support:

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or a relevant Languages/Education qualification
  • Minimum 6 months' experience working with children or young people in the UK
  • Experience supporting SEN and SEMH needs
  • Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Professional references covering the last two years
