Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Fareham, supporting secondary-aged pupils who experience learning difficulties, autism, sensory needs and language challenges. This role involves providing personalised support to help pupils access learning, regulate emotions and develop independence.

- Pay Rate: From £14.25 per hour

Experience, Training & Personal Qualities

- Calm behaviour support
/n
- Strong behaviour management while maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.
/n
- Motivational approach to encourage engagement, communication and confidence.
/n
- Support for sensory and communication needs, promoting independence and emotional wellbeing.
/n
- Caring, patient and an excellent communicator.
/n
- Self-reflective and proactive with a willingness to learn.
/n
- Experience supporting young people with Autism, learning difficulties or language needs.
/n

Requirements
/n
To be eligible for this role, you must:
/n
/n
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
/n
- Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
/n
- Provide references covering the last 24 months.
/n
/n
