Prospero Teaching is an approved provider of tutors to Local Authorities and Virtual Schools throughout Greater Manchester. We facilitate 1:1 tuition for students who are out of school or unable to access education in a formal setting. Reasons for this include:

  • Permanent exclusion due to behaviour
  • Anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health difficulties
  • Additional needs such as ASD, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, physical disabilities, medical conditions
  • Being Looked After Children (LAC) or new to the area

Referrals typically involve 1:1 tuition in Maths and English at Primary level, functional skills level 1 or 2, or GCSE level. Tuition sessions range from a few hours per week per student and are usually conducted face-to-face at the student's residential/foster home or in the community, such as a local library.
