About the Role:

As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. You will help create a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore and learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning through play, planned activities, and small group work.
  • Contribute to planning, observation, and assessment of children's progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Promote independence, curiosity, and confidence in all learners.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or early years classroom.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
