About the Role
As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. You'll help create a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore and learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning through play, planned activities, and small group work.
- Contribute to planning, observation, and assessment of children's progress.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote independence, curiosity, and confidence in all learners.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years classroom.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
