Prospero Teaching are supporting warm and welcoming primary schools across the Heswall area who are looking to appoint a full-time EYFS Teacher for long-term roles starting in February. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years practitioner who enjoys creating engaging, play-based learning experiences and supporting children at the very start of their education journey.
The role
As an EYFS Teacher, you will take the lead in the early years classroom, planning and delivering child-centred lessons that support learning through play, exploration and creativity. You will work closely with support staff and the wider leadership team to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel confident, valued and ready to learn. Schools are looking for a proactive and caring practitioner who understands the importance of strong early foundations.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the EYFS curriculum
- Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating early years learning environment
- Supporting children\\\βs social, emotional and academic development
- Using observations and assessments to track progress and inform next steps
- Working closely with EYFS support staff and SEND teams where required
- Encouraging positive behaviour and early learning routines

The ideal candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) β essential
- Experience teaching within the EYFS or early years setting

- Able to deliver engaging lessons through play and exploration
- Understanding of safeguarding and early years policies
