Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Kings Heath on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school is looking for someone patient, caring, and proactive, with a genuine passion for helping children thrive both academically and socially.

Role Details

  • Full-time, long-term role
  • September 2026 start
  • School hours, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
  • Competitive daily pay, depending on experience

Ideal Candidate

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Experience working within EYFS
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND
  • A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • References covering the last 24 months
